Welcome to Emerging, the official podcast of the Trout Unlimited and Costa 5 Rivers program. 5 Rivers is a national network of TU-affiliated college fly fishing clubs seeking to engage college, students, through community outreach and fishing trips. Our goal is to create positive change within the TU Costa 5 Rivers community and beyond by amplifying intelligent, diverse, and positive voices. Jamie Vaughan is Trout Unlimited’s Great Lakes engagement coordinator. As a regional engagement coordinator, Jamie works on habitat conservation projects, coordinates volunteer engagement, leads STREAM Girls events for local youth, and much more! There is so much awesome work going on in the Great Lakes region from culvert construction to tree plantings. Get involved with your local TU chapter to learn about volunteer opportunities and conservation projects!
